Snowmobile Trails – Wildlife is abundant on this 118-mile trail featuring lakes and cross country views. Along the way there are stopping points in Groton, Columbia, and two major recreation areas offering camping and cabins. Ice camping is a hit for those hardy enough to brave the cold!
Winter Events – Even though the cold weather may have put a freeze on some people’s plans, Aberdeen doesn’t let the winter months slow down the fun annual events in the area. Some family friendly events found in Aberdeen include – Wing’s Hockey games, High School and College sporting events, Winterfest, Christmas on Main: A Downtown Holiday Celebration, shopping and the Snow Queen Competition.
